As the copy editor for the Lasso, I still had the opportunity to write articles. I had the opportunity to talk to amazing TWU students,  discuss things happening on campus and write about other news events relevant to TWU students.

I had so much fun at Study Breaks. This was my first internship, and it taught me a lot about writing for an online publication. I definitely grew as a writer and editor. One of my favorite thing about my time at Study Breaks is that I learned to interview people. I had the opportunity to interview extraordinary college students and tell their stories.

My time at TWU and UNT has allowed me to grow as a writer. In my classes, I had the opportunity to write in my different genres like creative nonfiction, reviews, academic writing and more.
